L. Stinkbug

L. Stinkbug formed in 1997 by bassist Steurart Liebig and guitarists Neils Cline and G.E. Stinson. They eventually found drummer Scott Amendola and began to work on experimental ways to play music. Utilizing springs, toys, brushes, and kitchen appliances, along with various effects devices, the band crafted very experimental compositions along the lines of Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, or even the Boredoms. Their debut album, 2002's The Allure of Roadside Curios, was released on Starlight Furniture Co. Records. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
