Dancing Dan

Dancing Dan was one of the stories of the day today on EZ Rock.  We had a number of people calling us up expressing dismay that the Spruce Grove RCMP gave him a $400 ticket for stunting for dancing near an intersection.  If you don't know who Dancing Dan is...well...he is a guy that stands on the corner of streets and dances for the everyone who is driving by.  I laughed my face off the first time I saw him.  Then I saw him again and again and again.  You can't help but smile when you see him dancing..  He seems to be in his own little world.  We found out this morning that he has his own website and facebook followers.  The court case for his offence is July 23rd in Stoney Plain.  Hey, I don't know if he was dancing to close to traffic.  Maybe he was causing problems.  But maybe, just maybe he should have gotten off with a warning.  Or is that just the way I see it.
