golfing for charity

Well here we go with the wonderfully busy charity golf tournaments.  I usually  host at least half a dozen a year where everybody has a great time, fun prizes and a great bar b q.  First up this year is The Realty Executives event June 20th at River Ridge golf course--the views here are spectacular!  Its kind of at the end of Ellerslie road.  The event is in support of Edmonton's Food Bank.

We're giving away two spots next week for fathers day to golf with me and my best buddy Chris.

By the way I got a few emails from people wondering how the guitar lessons are going with RKM music.  Three lessons down and I'm feeling pretty good...my fingers are getting tougher and I can play some chords and scales.....no serious stuff yet.  Teacher Al has been great  and is very good ...challenging but not too much.  Also if you're thinking about buying a musical intrument now is an excellent time as there are many sales on since this is kind of a quiet time of year.  RKM music is in Sherwood park and Millwoods.

Need some exercise and adventure?  Rabbit Hill ski slopes have been transformed to accomodate mountain bikers.  they have 6 marked trails with something for all ages and abilities...I can't wait to try it out.  If you need they also have all the equipment you'll need.  Should be great for the kids in summer!   for more go to www.rabbithill.com
