A Weekend of Scuba Diving

If you have your own personal bucket list (things to do before you kick the bucket) as I do, then one adventure you might want to consider is scuba diving.  I spent the weekend of Feb - 8 - 10th with Jack and company from Sub Sea Experience.  At my age there is always so many things you look back at and say "Hey why didn't I ever try that when I was younger".   Well before I kick the bucket I thought it was high time I injected a little adventure into these aging bones.  The first thing I did was contact Jack at Sub Sea Experience to sign up for a course.  At the time they had a 2 for 1 special, so the weekend in reality only cost me $150.00.  For that you get classroom instruction and lots of timejack in the water at Scona pool (where I went to high school oddly enough) and at the Kinsmen dive tank.  In total we had 4 sessions with full dive equipment and were taught everything to enjoy a safe and fun adventure in the water.   For the weekend you receive a certificate.  Now you have to get an open water ticket.  This is perfect if you plan on going to Mexico for spring break.  There you can book 2 days of lessons for about $200.  You will be taken out by qualified instructors on a boat where you will be tested amongst the corral reefs and beautiful tropical fish life off the coast of Mexico.  If you watch National Geographic, OLN or remember the Jacque Cousteau specials then you know what a treat you're in for.  So if you want to add Scuba Diving to your bucket list ( I think you should) - contact Jack at Sub Sea Experience and strap on a tank...and have fun!  Oh ya - that's a picture of Jack - Even more crusty in person....
