When I grow up, I want to be just like the gladiator, Maximus Decimus Meridius because--I love Italian food. I find sandals very comfy. Chopping sleazy politicians to flinders looks like a great deal of fun.

My one regret so far in life, is that I haven't yet, mastered a musical instrument.

One thing people don't know about me, is that I'm a secret optimist.

If I wasn't in the radio business, i would probably be a sailor in the coast gaurd, or the navy.

The most incredible place I have ever visited is Melville Island, in Canada's high arctic. In January, it doesn't matter which way you look. It's flat, white and as featureless as a table top, and yet, baffling, filled with an incredible variety of wildlife. It fills you with wonder about the tenacity of living things, and the vastness of this great land of ours.

If I could trade jobs with anyone in the world, I'd like to trying piloting a Sopwith Camel, or maybe a World War 2 vintage Spitfire.

When I was a teenager, I wore out Led Zepplin 2, from listening to it so much.
