Oag, or Old Automatic Garbage, are a Malaysian rock band whose career has been based on a strong live show, and they are one of the few indie rock bands in that country to achieve real success. The group signed to Positive Tone in 1995, and released its debut album, O@G, a year later. Over nearly ten years to follow, the group released seven further records, including a pair of EPs and a compilation. The second EP of the bunch, Orang, released in 2006, featured a number of songs that were used on television and in advertisements. In 2007 Oag won the IKON Malaysia band competition. ~ Chris True, All Music Guide
