Born in Rome on April 9, 1975, Fabrizio Moro (real name: Fabrizio Mobrici) learned to play the guitar when he was a kid. His first experiences were as part of cover bands playing songs by artists such as Guns N' Roses, The Doors, and U2. His first single, "Per Tutta Un'altra Destinazione," was released in 1996. Helped by the musicians who had been backing him for years, in 2000 Moro released his first album, simply titled Fabrizio Moro, and in the same year he took part in the Sanremo Music Festival -- in the Young Artists section -- with "Un Giorno Senza Fine," a song with a strong rock feeling.
