Inspired by the music of Madball, Earth Crisis, and The Gorilla Biscuits, Fort Lauderdale, FL's Xbishopx creates black humor hardcore with a straight-edge backdrop and occasional metallic tendencies. Founded in 2004, and signed by New Jersey's Ferret Music shortly thereafter, the band consists of the Artist Formerly Known as Mean Pete (vocals), Christopher Mylife (guitar), Sambone (guitar), Xaldox (bass), and Peter Pippen (drums), and released their debut full-length, Suicide Party, in early 2006. Xbishopx split an album with their South Florida peers The Red Baron a year later, and it was issued by local indie Death Truth Recordings. The label also released the band's Bless The Dead 7" at the same time. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
