Before becoming Belgium's entry in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, energetic vocalist Xandee (born Sandy Boets) was in the duo Touch of Joy. Her first single as a solo artist, "1 Life," was a number one hit in Belgium before its Eurovision nomination. It also became the title track to Xandee's 2004 debut. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
