Growing up around his grandparents' dance hall in Central Texas, TC Taylor became interested in the Texas music scene. He later moved to Nashville to hone his musical skills, but returned to Texas after doing writing and demos for Texhoma Publishing. In 1999, Taylor released his first CD, Putting The Western Back In Country, and continued the Texas fair and festival circuit.
