B.B.B.'s

The B.B.B.'s (it stands for Bothered By Boredom) are a Rochester, NY, power pop band with singer/guitarist Luther Holtzman the only constant in an ever-shifting lineup. Although the group formed in the early '80s at the University of Rochester and remained an on-and-off presence on the local pop music scene thereafter, it was not until 1998 that the group's first proper album, Best of the B.B.B.'s Volume One, was released. Prior to that, a handful of appearances on local compilations, one limited-edition 1987 Christmas single, "Are You Ready for Christmas" backed with "What'd You Get," and one 1990 ten-song demo cassette, Bothered by Boredom, were the extent of the group's releases. ~ Stewart Mason, All Music Guide
