M80

The East Coast punksters in M80 are known for their vigorous performances and energetic post-grunge sound. Molding the intensity of old-school ska and thrash, the Rhode Island natives in M80 are confident to let it all out. Frontman/guitarist Dave Ladin, guitarist Jeff Hanks, bassist Christian Blaney, and drummer Paul Sumner also incorporate their own streamlined melodies inside scowling punk energy. A self-titled debut was independently released in the late '90s, but M80 properly issued a sophomore album entitled Don't Take It Away in 2000. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
