F.o.d. are a German electronic body music (EBM) trio whose style is influenced by Neue Deutsche Welle as well as contemporary electronic dance music. Hailing from Oschatz, Saxony, the trio is comprised of Daniel (aka eXcess D; vocals, keyboard, programming, composition, arrangement), Andreas (aka An/dress; keyboards, programming, lyrics, composition, arrangement), and André (aka Van den Gerk; keyboards, special effects, presentation). F.o.d. made their recording debut in 2002 with a pair of singles (Krissi, Over Now/X-Celerate) followed by the full-length albums Crucified (2003) and Made in Germany (2005). The trio subsequently signed a recording contract with the label Fear Section and proceeded to release Synthesizer Tanzmusik (2008). The most commercially successful F.o.d. album to date, Synthesizer Tanzmusik features former Blutengel singer Eva Pölzing on several songs. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
