Lots of changes with the morning show and we just didn't have enough room for the morning moron feature any more but I did hear from fans.  So for those of you who loved hearing about moronic behaviour I will offer up a few gems at least once a week.

By the way if you have thoughts or feedback on the new morning show please let us know---afterall it's "YOUR" station.  You can email me at smichaels@radio.astral.com

Thanks and now on with the moron parade....
Broken Bones Better Than Telling His Wife

Vienna, Austria ... A man wound up in the hospital after he faked an armed robbery ... because he was too scared to tell his wife he had lost thousands of dollars gambling in a casino.

Josef Reiner, 26, broke his nose, jaw and arm as he beat himself with an iron bar to make the fake robbery seem real.

But when police officers were called in by hospital doctors, Reiner copped to what had really happened.

A police spokesman said: "He must have been very afraid of his wife to inflict so much pain on himself rather than just confess to her."

Blind Leading Blind Drunk?

Nancy, France ... A blind man was given a month's suspended jail sentence and fined $850 for driving under the influence and without a license.

The owner of the car, who was also drunk and in the passenger seat as the blind man drove, was given the same sentence and had his license suspended for five months.

The pair were arrested on a country road in the early morning hours after police spotted their car swerving all over the road at very low speeds.

Police were shocked when the 29-year-old driver informed them that he was blind. A breath test showed that he and his 52-year-old passenger were more than twice the legal limit.

"I really wanted to do it (drive the car)," the blind man told the court. "I expressed this wish. He (the owner of the car) agreed."

The owner said he saw "a lot of happiness emanating from him" as the blind man ...[ More ]

 and one more;

Belleville Mich--A woman sold some DVD's at a garage sale and lost $1200 her husband had been saving in the process.

Tracy Holmes thought she was doing a good thing when she sold three old DVD's for $10 at her garage sale.

What she didn't know was that her husband Fred had been secretly saving up money for the families Christmas trip to Disney world.  And she sure didn't know he was hiding the money in one of the DVD's she sold.

"He thought apparently the DVD case was a great spot to hide it from me, and it was, " Holmes said. " I didn't think to look there".

Holmes thinks the man who bought the DVD of "Sin City" was about 6 feet tall and in his 50's or 60's.  She's hoping the word will get out and he will return the money.
