Already an accomplished writer, visual artist, and educator, in 1998 Zaffi Gousopoulos furthered her creative field into the genre of recorded music. Three years in the making, her debut CD entitled The Queen's Incurable Inglish is not just a work of music, but an engaging mixture of new age-styled songspeak. There are 15 "poemsongs" in all, ranging from pop and traditional bouzouki to infusions of humorous anecdotes, lyrical poetry, and dissertations on cultural and gender identities.
