Since it concentrates solely on Bonnie Tyler's Columbia material, Super Hits isn't a definitive collection -- after all, it's missing her terrific first hit "It's a Heartache," since it was recorded for RCA -- but it nevertheless is a fine overview of her career peak in the early '80s, containing all of her charting singles for the label: "Total Eclipse of the Heart," "Take Me Back," "Holding Out for a Hero," "Here She Comes" and "If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man)." That's essentially a definitive summary of her Columbia years, which will make this of considerable interest to casual fans. Read More
